Michael Stanton Murphy
Don’t Let “Murph”s age fool you. He’s been in the game for a while. At the age of 17 Murph was playing in Bergen County bars in the “Rob and Murph” guitar duo.
After ten years of professional music performances with a BFA in acting and Stand up Comedy experience as well; Murph loves working the room! Whether it’s a light crowd or Heavy, Murph has the experience to play for any group of any age with a blend of Classic Rock, Big Bar Sing-along, or Coffee House B-sides at a Non-Obtrusive level. He performs regularly every Wednesday and Friday in NYC at Oflahertys on 46th btwn 8th and 9th . Murph loves playing solo or recruiting a team of “pickers” for a blue grass meets classic rock evening of long jam sessions to the catchy tunes everyone is familiar with from The Rolling Stones to Incubus to Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead. He is one of our top performing NJ wedding bands.
