Edgar- Leader and MC of the Love Street Band is a 14-year veteran on the cover band scene & a total 25 year career musician landing 2 record deals in the mid 90’s. A solid solo acoustic guitar act, Edgar’s friendly personality, strong commanding vocals, harmonica wails, a mixed bag of tricks, and a great selection of music is perfect for every age group.

“Edgar & friends” is the variety of EME bands and live NJ Wedding DJs that can be paired up with Edgar for any occasion.

Edgar’s house party performances are very popular these days either as a solo band or as a duo with one of Edgar’s “friends”.

Other increasingly popular ensembles are Edgar trios for NJ Bar Mitzvah cocktail hours or Mitzvah luncheons. These new up and coming trendy events are designed primarily for the enjoyment of the adult guests. They are typically an extended cocktail hour anywhere from one and a half to three hours prior to the main event Bar or Bat Mitzvah. In some cases it is the day before the main event.

As with all EME acts, your vision for any type of band or ensemble combination can be suited to complete your musical goals for Wedding, Private Event, Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah!

Mike G1While attending Rutgers University, his love for music culminated in the formation of the funk/rock/folk band WUPA.  With several years under his belt as a performing singer and multi-instrumentalist, he now finds himself entertaining his friends and family again, in bars all across the Garden State.  With a healthy smattering of country, folk, pop and rock influences, Mike can move the crowd to party and then bring it back down for the most intimate of performances.  His love of music shines on through.

Mike also performs with the NYC based Travis Nilan And The List, the Jersey rock cover band High Street Legacy and the wedding band Bring On The Night.

They are able to recreate the sound of a full band sound using just two instruments — an acoustic guitar and a Peruvian percussive “box” known as the “Cajon” (kuh-hone). Jeff’s precise Cajon playing mimics the sounds of a real drum set, while Gerry plays fluid lead lines over rhythmic guitar loops. The duo’s instrumental excellence is paired with their ability to share lead and harmony vocal lines

Jessica began writing original music at age 16, and after her first 3 written songs, she attracted the attention of entertainment attorney Michael Lehman (Luther Vandross, O-town and now manager of Greg Allman)  and head executives at Sanctuary Records.  After opting for a scholarship to Newhouse at Syracuse University, Jessica continued to write, perform and record throughout college and the years afterward.  She has worked with and recorded with such producers as Ted Mason (Modern English), Anthony Krizan (Spin Doctors), and Jason Corsaro (Fleetwood Mac, Madonna) to name a few.  Today, Jessica continues to perfect her craft as a songwriter, musician and performer.

Jessica has performed live concerts at countless venues around the tri-state area over the past ten years, including Gramercy Theater, Highline Ballroom and Count Bassie Theater to name a few. She has also created memorable moments performing weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, country club events, and bars/restaurants.

 

Jessica’s repertoire spans the past 5 decades, and includes everything from Sheryl Crow and Alicia Keys, to Eric Clapton,

Stevie Nicks, and Tom Petty just to name a few. She is known for her keen musical sensibility and her natural tendency to make each song “her own” which creates a beautiful and unique listening experience.
