Dave Paulson

Inspired by the movie School of Rock (Jack Black) at just 10 years old, Dave Paulson discovered his passion for music early and quickly found his way into the New Jersey music scene. While earning his AA from County College of Morris and later dual bachelor’s degrees in Music and Interactive Multimedia from The College of New Jersey; Dave performed on notable stages including The Bitter End in NYC, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, and Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA.

Dave is also an accomplished songwriter and recording artist. Since 2015, he has served as the primary songwriter on five original albums with his band, Water Street, currently signed to indie label Free Dive Collective.

As a performer, Dave brings a relaxed, contemporary style influenced by artists such as John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, and Fleetwood Mac. His extensive repertoire crosses generations, blending classics from Billy Joel, James Taylor, and Creedence Clearwater Revival with current favorites from artists like Olivia Dean, Coldplay, and Noah Kahan.

With strong musicianship, an easygoing presence, and a versatile song selection, Dave is a great fit for wedding cocktail hours, private parties, country clubs, corporate events, and any celebration looking for quality live music with a modern acoustic feel.
